SÄLEN - Tadådalen

The winter break have begun and I have waited long enough to go on a holiday with my BABI. This year we headed to SÄLEN (Winter Chalet). Since there were so many of us heading to the same place, we booked a 50 seater bus. The bus journey was 11 hours instead of 8 hours.


Day 1
The Centrum crew. Which only occupy 15% of the bus...

thanks god is about 30m from the ski Lift. Walking with ski boots were never easy.

Day 2

We woke up Early this morning to pick up our ski equipments. All excited to try the slopes.

What I hate most about Salen, is the coldness. After one hour, your fingers and feet goes numb. I wore about 3 layers and it is still so freaking cold.

Now you know why this week all the accomadation is so cheap, too cold, not many people want to ski. Lucky for me, I have my balaclava. Managed to survived for a few more hours with it.

DAy 3

After 1 day of skiing, more Balacava Bandits appear!!!

Eating steamboat in the night was the best. With all different kind of soup in the menu. Mala Soup, tomyam soup.

DAy 4

We graduated!!!!!!

Now is time for Mummy and Daddy to have fun.

The snowmobile costs 650kr per scooter for 2 hours. If you like the adrenaline rush, you will LOVE it. With a 600CC scooter and a mountain terrain, watch out for that bumpy road.

How can we forget Dong Zhi Jie aka tang yuen festival, which is also one of my favourite day. Every year without fail, DaDDY would cooked pink and white Tang yuen for me. This year the kids make their own peanut Tang yuen!!!! How I wish there was black seasame too..:(
