17th century, Sweden was always been attacked by the other neighboring countries. To protect themselves, they built Blekinge. As what you see today, Karlskrona city is one of them. What lies outside of karlskrona is surrounded by small islands. The only two main islands that ships are able to pass through are Apso and Kungsholmen island. WHy of all place karlskrona?Because here there are abundant of oaks tress which they built boats with, and the 2 island is just below Karlskrona.
