BOSU , half ball....

What is BOSU?
It is actually a gym ball. But it is half and smaller. It also means 'Both Sides Up'.

Today I have one hell of an experience, and I need to blog it down.

Recently I sign up for a gym class. Something like AMore fitness. I have tried kickboxing, yoga and etc. SO this time wanna try something new. As usual I went for their classes. Since my peers initially 'pang sei' me for FOOD. So I went for BOSU.

It started off with doing some light exercises to warm up and bouncing on the ball. At first you might think bouncing on the ball is no big deal. Chicken feet even the kids can do it. Sorry you are wrong. You have to bounce and keep your balance at the same time. Slowly the instructor introduced even more technique, like balancing on one leg on the ball and routines going left and right of the ball.

By then, you would be out of breath. This is not it. Now comes the arms training. You will have to carry some weight pole (4kg is the lightest) and do arm presses. Triceps and bicep with one leg on the ball. After which back to jumping on the Bosu again.

As I was having fun and trying to catch my breath. Suddenly, I see white star in front of me growing bigger and bigger. I knew I'm going down.. yes physically faint. Quickly, I move myself to lean back on the mirror and catch my breath. My face was as white as paper. This is the first time, I almost faint in gym class. After resting for 10 mins, I got myself together and continue. Never really like giving up half way during exercises the Seline continue all the way.

This class is quite vigorous I would say. The instructor was really good. She did pre-warned me that first timer might feel light headed. Its been a long time since I had such a good full body work out, despite the fainting part. I'm coming back for more.

Social Event....

Karlskrona riding School

I love exploring new places. This time round, I finally get to racky this horse ridding school. The place is not hard to find and the area is huge. Looking at small little kids galloping with their 'ponies' make me eager to get onto one too. Just imagine Kids age 6 and above.
On the other hand, the horses was big/tall. We tried to feed the horses but was a little terrified of them nibbling on our hands. HAHA we had a great laugh at each other. To learn their courses you will have to wait for the new term to start which will be in August and you have to be on the waiting list.

This is an indoor house for the kids to ride.

This so call carriage is how they transport their horses.

The STABLE. Not very nice smelling thou.

Burn up!!

Spring is all nice and colourful with beautiful Flowers blooming their buds and feather-like seeds. As you are walking, be mesmerized by the spectrum of colours. With the temperature soaring like nobody business, beware when you open your mouth or where you are stepping. Our Creepy crawler friends are here to pay a visit for the next couple of months.
