Lake Toya(Toyako)
The view is magnificent but to me it is a basin of water, surrounded by Mt Usu and some other little mountain. . To get to the Ryokan (Hot Spring), you will need to pass by here.

This is not the hotel that we were supposed to stay in.
Due to some translating website problem. We found out that translated private bath means toilet. That means BYE BYE to my private ONSEN.....
The view from our balcony
In the ryokan, you have to change to the Yakuta(summer dress), and wear their in house slipper. You are not allowed to wear shoes on the tatami. In the hotel, everyone walks in this outfit. They are also quite particular in the way the clothes are worn too. Look carefully, there is a difference between the man and lady. The Yakuta is suppose to be ankle length and properly tied.
